Instagram has announced a new feature where you can securely complete your purchase without even leaving the app. Previously you’d be taken to the brand’s website to complete your payment, adding an oh-so tiresome step to the process (and giving you time to re-think those fuchsia thigh-highs).
The checkout feature has just launched with 20 brands including Huda Beauty, Zara, Revolve and Oscar De La Renta, with more to join in the fun in the days to come. To shop, simply add your payment details to the app, and any products eligible for in-app purchases will have a blue ‘Checkout on Instagram’ button - all that’s left is to alert your doorman that he should expect yet another parcel…
